ABOUT US

The Green Forest ABC Preschool program offers high quality early education services to children aged three and four-year old.  We have a 6-Star Better Beginnings rating, which is the highest that can be achieved. There are three classrooms which can serve a total of up to 60 students. Each classroom consists of a certified lead teacher and a highly trained paraprofessional, as well as a floater who assists in all three classrooms.  All teachers are CPR and 1^st Aid certified and partake in several hours of professional development training yearly. We have several bilingual staff members, offering English, Spanish and Karen languages. The Green Forest ABC Preschool uses a state approved developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with the Arkansas Child Development and Early Learning Standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preschool slots are free to families who qualify based on income or circumstances that may cause a student to be at-risk, such as developmental delays or socio-economic risk factors. Students must have turned three by August 1^st of the current school year and must not be kindergarten eligible. The ABC Preschool program is a center-based program that follows the Green Forest Public School Schedule. To pick up an application, you may come by any of our three classrooms or call (870) 438-6130 or (870) 438-4226 for more information. We are located on the Green Forest Elementary School campus.
