We hope this letter finds you enjoying a safe, restful, and fun-filled summer! As we prepare to begin another exciting academic year, we are thrilled to welcome all of our students, families, teachers, and staff back to the Green Forest School District.

The first day of school for all students will be Tuesday, August 12th, 2025. Our team has been working extremely hard over the summer to prepare classrooms, update curriculum, and ensure that everything is ready for a smooth and successful start to the new year.

Whether your child is joining us for the first time or returning to the district, we are committed to creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive. We will continue to focus on academic growth, social/emotional wellness, and strong partnerships between school and home.

Here are a few important reminders as we head into the school year:

• Open House Events: Open House is on August 7th, from 5:00-6:30.Please make plans to drop by the office where your child will be attending and get schedules, meet teachers, and get ready for the start of a new school year.  

• Back to School Bash: We are hosting a back-to-school bash on the night of August 7th from 5:00-7:00. We will have food, supplies, games, free haircuts, and a lot of fun. Please visit the school campus where your child will attend this year, and then join us at the Alumni Center for our back-to-school bash. 

• Transportation & Schedules: Bus routes and class schedule information will be available at each building. 

• Communication: Stay connected with your school through our app, website, and official district social media channels.
