I have been an educator for 25 years. The first three years of my teaching career was in 1st grade. I then took over the Media Center for grades 4-7 in the Intermediate School. When our new building was built, I took on the second library. I enjoy working with all students choosing the right book for them and doing research.

I am married to James Brown. We have been married for 36 years. We met at Arkansas Tech University.  I continued my masters at Arkansas Tech in Instructional Media.  We have one daughter, Lauren Ashley Hall. She graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2021 with a degree in Bio-Chem.  Continued her education at A.T. Still for dental school.  She graduated in May 2025, the same month she married Hunter.  They live in their college town of Russellville.  Tech yeah, Heck yeah!
